As the final training session on the last day of the 2023 Celtic Soccer Training Camp held in Johor Bahru Malaysia, participants and coaches alike were left with mixed emotions. On one hand, there was a sense of relief that the grueling daily regimen of drills, scrimmages, and conditioning was finally over. On the other hand, there was a palpable sadness that this unique experience had come to an end.
For 6 days, participants had converged on the Danga Futsal Centre indoor facility to learn from Celtic soccer academy coaches. Under their watchful eye, the participants had honed their skills, built new relationships, and forged memories that would last a lifetime. As they had their last training sessions for the camp and said their goodbyes, there was a sense that something special had been created here.
