EMZEE FOOTBALL CLUB's president Ms. Sivapoopathy has opened up on the club's plan to relocate to Johor Bahru. Part of the reason states was that the city has a strong football culture and a large pool of talented young players, providing the club better opportunity to tap into youth talent pool and develop a strong team that can compete at the highest levels.
In addition, she states that "Johor Bahru is strategically located near many other major cities in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. This gives us the opportunity to participate in more tournaments and competitions as a football club in Johor Bahru, as well as attract more scouts and sponsors. The city also has excellent infrastructure and facilities, including world-class stadiums and training grounds, which will allow us to provide our players with the best possible training environment".
When asked when the relocation will take place, The club's correspondent enunciated that the move is likely to take place sooner than anticipated.
